This is a book about a new Zealand native gecko who is being hunted by a kingfisher in his battle to escape the kingfisher whose name is kortarie his parents get captured and eaten by him. so does he go back to his home or does he get captured by the evil kingfisher?


I would recommend this for you if you like new zealand native animals and native bush and I do so I give this a 9/10.

scholastic                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   So the kingdom of fantasy is about Geronimo stilton  has to get   stuff for queen blossom,but she was not acting well like nomal,   Geronimo had to get magical green hair, cradle that makes         you sleep for ever,a glass coffin,a box of dark magic,a stone marks that makes you evil,click-click chain,and a bottle of the     sadest tears ever but actually it was her evil twin winter useing all of the stuff that Geronimo bought to use on her sister so then she can be queen.but then Geronimo found her lock up and freed her and then they had twin vs twin for the kingdom but blossom won the battle.                                                                      i give this book a 3 out of 10.

This book is about this lady who as spent lots of time in jungles with chimpanzees studying there behaviours and many other things. She has loved animals since she was very little the book was about  helping the chimpanzees and educate people about these amazing animals that are more like us then most people realise.

I really like this book because it's not to long and it's basted on a real thing that actually happened. Also it proves if you don't give up you can do it. I rate this book a 5/10

Foalan is a Maldach (a wolf born with a deformity or premature birth).He was a small silver pup born with 2 sisters but is taken away a wolf law highly bans Maldach's so he is taken by the Obea and left on a Tummfraw to die.As if things weren't worse for this little pup the Tummfraw breaks and falls in the river with this tiny newborn on top .meanwhile a mother grizzly has just had her cub taken by a cougar she is confused and she takes a step to find something has clamped onto her leg. It was the pup she feeds it with her own milk and looks after him as her own. She teaches him many things but it becomes hibernation Foalan leaves the grizzly has a dream of the cougar stealing her cub and she instantly awakes and searches for Foalan he has gone for a stroll but she does not know this and an earthquake breaks out a boulder lands on the poor grizzly she is left to die. Foalan does not k now this and he waits for her. as days pass he searches for her he knows inside that she has left this earth he needs to search for a wolf pack.

review on the book: It was not hard to say this was mythical because this book is about vampires and a house that holds your soul so if you die In there you will be brought back to life. Wait did I menschen that the characters were vampires and you had to be a vampire to come back to life or if some one else in the house puts a clove of garlic in your mouth and a stake through your heart in 01:30 you will be...left in suspense by me linda norman. 
personal opinion : I personally enjoyed the part were well I really enjoyed all of the book it was great I give it a 9/10 because I dislike the font

Before Roald Dahl started writing books he was a fighter pilot and a spy in the second world war. Also the story Roald Dahl published weren't actually what he first wrote he made a lot of changes to them. For example Charlie and the chocolate factory the story that was published had 5 golden tickets but in the one he first wrote there were 7 golden tickets he also took one whole chapter out of that book. Roald Dahl had rough life. Read this book to find out more!

This book is about, Greg Heffleys problems on Christmas, Greg and his friend Rowley was putting posters on the walls of the school on a rainy day, the posters had coloured ink on the posters, the ink ended up melting onto the wall. He ended up staying indoors the whole holiday since he was to scared he would get arrested. When they watched the news on tv, apparently it was going to be a snow storm so they stayed indoors. snow was so high it touched is windows and they thought there power was off but Gregs little brother Manny, ended up turning all the power off in there main power box except his room, and they never knew.

This comic is basically scenes from footrot flats. I like the part where Pongo is taking out the food scraps for the chooks but dog just jumps on her and eats the scraps all up. Once he is finished he has a chicken bone stuck in his gum. He goes to cousin midge and as it is a wishbone she pulls it and it snaps but she wins the bigger half. he is hiding in a tree when Wal comes and tells him to get out but he is too scared that Wal is going to pull it out. Wal says if he doesn't pull it out he will have to go to the vets. they go to the vets. At the vets dog gets into a fight with another dog but he gets called into the surgery room. At first dog was happy enough to be there but then the vet brings out a needle and dog starts running around but the vet managed to get the injection into him to put him to sleep. when he wakes up the chicken bone is out and he is fine again with no more pain.

Sean, Annie and their mother were very poor and hungry due to the war. Their Father had gone to America and promised to come back to get them and bring them to America. One day Sean met a soldier down at the stream. Their Mother had always said don't talk to soldiers but this one seemed different. He gave Sean a couple of biscuits and said he would do this every day. The soldier taught Sean how to fish for eels. The man realised they were starving and decided to come to their house one evening to talk to their mum. The next day Sean and Annie were on horse back with the soldier to go to America as the plague was coming to their town. There mother couldn't go with them as she was to weak and starving but she gave them the families golden torc which has been passed down through their family and believed to give good luck. Sean and Annie travelled across rough seas meeting a friend and fine fiddle player. When finally they see America the sky was red - a sign of danger. The ship was rocking badly and ended up crashing on the rocks. Sean and Annie were both survivors. Once they had reached the shore Sean and Annie went on many adventures to try and get to their father.

I recommend this book for those who like adventure. I would rate this book a 9/10.

This book is about Barney, his mum and someone they met. First of all Barneys dad went to war in WW2. The fighter planes dropped bombs along Barneys street and their houses were demolished. This leaded them to take a train to one of their relations where they could live by the seaside. While they were on the train the fighter planes were following them so they had to stop in a tunnel where it was safe, though pitch black and smoky. The man that had been sitting in their carriage told them about his life story how he was once in the army. He had told them about all his adventures and all of his friends adventures lighting a match every so often when the driver of the train said that they were going to be moving out of the tunnel as the planes had gone. when Barney and his mum looked back at the man he was gone.

I really enjoyed this story as it was a war story but I especially liked it because it was based on a true story but told in a really clever way. I would rate this a 10/10. 

Diary of a wimpy kid dog days



It's  Greg's  summer vacation, and it's a really hot summer, and all the kids are having fun outside. So where’s Greg? Inside his house, playing video games all summer..
 
Greg is a lazy indoor person that  is living on his video games with  no responsibilities and no rules. But Greg’s mum has a different idea for summer . . . one family vacation or something else etc.


I like this book cause funny and good story i rate a 8/10
