This book has ten short stories in it, The Sneetches, I can lick 30 tigers today, The Zax, The big brag, King Looie Katz, What was I scared of?, Gertrude McFuzz, The glunk that got thunk, Too many Daves, and Yertle the turtle. All of these stories have wacky rhymes and fantastic pictures in them. My favourite one of these is Too Many Daves. This story is about Mrs McCave who had twenty three sons all named Dave. So whenever she just wants one she calls out dave and she doesn't just get one she gets twenty three daves running at her. Sometimes she wishes when they were born she called them different names. She makes up some really funny names such as Oliver Boliver butt, Buffalo Bill, Biffilo Buff, Blinkey, Stinkey, Stuffy, Moon face.
