This book is about a girl called Matilda. She was six years old and lived with two unsuitable parents and a mean brother. She loved reading so went to a local library. She meet a girl called Lavander, a teacher called Miss Honey and a mean principal called Miss Trunchball. Matilda loved hanging out with Miss Honey. One day Matildas parents were moving to Guam, she refused to go so her parents signed her adoption papers for Miss Honey to be Matildas mother. She was finally Matildas mother and lived happily ever after.
