When the war started the jews were in big trouble. one Jewish family, the frank family, had to go into an attic which they called the 'Secret Annex'. Every day in the attic anne frank wrote in her diary, recorded her experiences, feelings and emotions. One day the nazis came and inspected the building where they were hiding in the attic. The Frank family knew they were there so they were as silent as a mouse. The Nazis did not find them. Their family suffered from hunger, boredom, etc since they could not see or be part of the outside world. Anne Frank and her family lived there for about two years.
I would recommend this book for ages 11 and up. I rate this book a 8 or 9 out of ten.
