This book is about a boy called Greg Heffley who went on the worst family road trip of his life. When they were on there road trip there family van ended up getting ruined, they got robbed by a family called the Beardo's and Gregs dad nearly lost his job. But at the end of there road trip they replaced there belongings and fixed all there problems. But one thing Greg noticed when he got home was the beardo's never stole there stuff in the first place.
