Classic literature

Last term Elizabeth was the naughtiest girl in the school but this term she wants to turn over a new leaf. She is now excited to go back to Whyteleafe where as last term she hated school. When she went back to school there was some new children, Kathleen, Robert and Jennifer. When Elizabeth got to meet these people she became to dislike two of the three, Robert and Kathleen. Kathleen was a selfish girl with greasy hair who never shared her sweets. Jennifer came to be very popular and liked as she could copy what people say in the same voice with the same actions. Robert was a bully to younger children and made sure they didn't tell on him in the meeting. One lunchtime later in the term Kathleen started spreading rumors about Jenny. When Elizabeth heard of this she went out to Kathleen and gave her a growling. Kathleen was angry at both of them so she decided to pay them back with a few tricks that would get them in trouble, hiding their books in the cupboard, Putting Jenny's white mice in the teachers draw, etc. As Robert had been mean to Elizabeth and was his enemy, Elizabeth thought it was Robert who was playing tricks on them.

Irecommend this book to ages 10+ and also to read the whole collection/series.
